This year’s Lunar New Year “Pass-It-On” donation drive with our strategic partner, Mah Sing Group, once again brought festive treats to the students of the Pusat Sama-Sama Education Programme. More than 40 food items were collected, spreading festive joy to the students while helping reduce food waste during the season, true to the spirit of “Pass-It-On”. 🤝🏮

The items were received by Ms. Wendy Chua, Operations Manager at Pusat Sama-Sama, an initiative by our long-term strategic partner Community at Heart that provides free English and Mathematics tuition to underprivileged students.

Thank you to everyone who contributed and helped share the joy of the festive season! ✨

Beginning a new chapter in restoring sight ✨

This morning, Mah Sing Foundation formalised our partnership with Pusat Pembedahan Katarak Maiwp - Hospital Selayang through the Mah Sing Foundation Cataract Correction Programme. With RM105,000, MSF will fund over 400 free intraocular lenses, supporting access to cataract surgeries for B40 patients across Malaysia.

To mark the occasion, MSF Trustees, Dato’ Indera Syed Norulzaman and Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah, together with Mah Sing Group’s top management, Jane Leong and Lyanna Tew, visited Pusat Pembedahan Katarak MAIWP – Hospital Selayang.

Warmly welcomed by Dr. Mohd Fadzli bin Ariffin, Deputy Medical Director II of Hospital Selayang, and Dr. Mohamad Aziz bin Salowi, Consultant Ophthalmologist and Head of Pusat Pembedahan Katarak MAIWP, along with colleagues from Hospital Selayang and resident ophthalmologists, the MSF team toured the centre and learned about the full range of services it provides, from patient intake and consultation, to surgery and post-operative care. We were able to see first-hand how patients can regain their vision and improve their quality of life in just a few short hours.

Since 2013, the centre has performed over 35,000 cataract surgeries, reducing preventable blindness. As a dedicated one-stop centre, it shortens waiting times, improves outcomes, and makes treatment more accessible, particularly for those who might otherwise delay care due to cost or distance.

Through this partnership, Mah Sing Foundation is helping more B40 patients access timely cataract surgery. For many, this means regaining independence, returning to work, and caring for their families. By expanding access to care, we aim to ensure that no one is left behind. This is how we continue to create lasting change in the communities we serve.

A strong future begins with a strong foundation. 🛠

At Mah Sing Foundation, we believe meaningful learning starts with the basics. When a child struggles to read or count, it becomes harder to understand lessons or solve problems in school. Together with our long-term strategic partner Yayasan Generasi Gemilang, we are strengthening these building blocks of learning for underprivileged students through the LIT3M programme. 📖

Through intensive one-to-one mentoring, students are given the space and support to build confidence while strengthening their literacy and numeracy skills. In 2025, 17 students from PPR Taman Putra Damai participated in the programme. More than 70% improved by at least one level in Bahasa Melayu and Mathematics, with 41% advancing by two levels or more. ✨Five students also successfully graduated! 🎓

Behind these numbers are children gaining confidence, building essential skills, and discovering that they are capable of learning and succeeding. We are grateful to Yayasan Generasi Gemilang for their partnership, helping generations of students strengthen their skills and realize their potential.

Today, on International Women’s Day, we celebrate the power of giving.💜

When support, resources, and opportunities are shared, women gain the skills and confidence to succeed. And as they grow, they can give back by sharing knowledge, mentoring others, and multiplying impact across communities.

At Mah Sing Foundation, we are proud to work with women-led organisations, support women-centered initiatives, and help create equal opportunities for girls across Malaysia.

This is the spirit of , because when women rise, we all rise together. 🙌

This Ramadan, Mah Sing Foundation and Mah Sing Group volunteers once again came together with our Women Entrepreneurship Development (WOWED) Programme participants to prepare and distribute Bubur Kacang Durian for the PPR Jelatek community. 🥣

Smiles, laughter and conversation, along with the unmistakable aroma of durian, filled the room as volunteers worked side by side with the women entrepreneurs, carefully preparing each pot of dessert with care and teamwork. 🙌

A heartfelt thank you to our three dedicated volunteers who took time out of their weekend to serve the community. By the end of the session, over 250 containers of bubur kacang durian were packed and ready to be shared with families in time for iftar.

We are also grateful to the Women Of Will team and the WOWED community leaders of PPR Jelatek for welcoming us and for the opportunity to give back together. 💜

With our strategic partner IDEAS Autism Centre (IAC) Rawang, Mah Sing Foundation is proud to have supported the Occupational Therapy Programme for children with autism from underprivileged families since 2020.

Through the programme, students receive consistent, structured, and comprehensive support in developing sensory regulation and motor skills, alongside targeted support in cognitive development, social skills, and emotional regulation, building a strong foundation for greater independence. 🙌

✨ In 2025, we continued to witness meaningful impact:
• 70% of students showed improvements in social and communication skills
• On average, 81% improved in daily living skills like dressing, feeding, and toileting independently
• 80% displayed improved behavioural regulation, reducing harm to themselves and others
• 3 students graduated and began their journey in the Program Pendidikan Khas Integrasi (PPKI) within the mainstream school system

Beyond occupational therapy, IAC adopts a holistic approach that includes parent training, individualised plans, and confidence-building platforms such as IAC Got Talent, providing students with a safe space to express themselves. 💙

Thank you to the dedicated team at IAC Rawang, as well as the parents and students, for their continued commitment. We look forward to continuing this partnership in 2026.

Mah Sing Foundation was honored to be invited by DRB-HICOM Berhad to present at their Internal Corporate Responsibility Refresher Course on 12 February 2026. The session was attended by staff involved in planning and executing corporate social responsibility programmes (CSR), with a focus on strengthening both implementation and impact.

We shared our insights on shaping impactful programmes centred on community needs, measuring outcomes that reflect sustainable change, and fostering meaningful employee engagement in CSR initiatives.

Drawing from our initiatives and experiences, we highlighted how we evaluate effectiveness, refine our approach for lasting impact, and reflect on lessons learned along the way. We are grateful to our strategic partners who walk alongside us in this ongoing journey of learning and improvement.

Thank you to the DRB-HICOM Berhad team for inviting us as one of the session’s speakers and for the engaging discussion. We’re grateful for the opportunity to share, learn, and strengthen social impact together.
