Well done Clara

Congratulations to Clara for being selected for the U14 Donegal Gaynor Cup squad. The Gaynor cup is Ireland's Elite u14 girls league cup and features teams across Ireland at the University of Limerick from June 1st- June 5th 2026. Everyone at Dunfanaghy Youths would like to wish Clara the best of luck for the rest of the season.

RIP

Seamus Quinn. Passed peacefully at the Foyle Hospice on 27th April 2026.
Beloved husband of Noreen and the late Maureen. Devoted father of Colleen, Shane, Seamus, Aishling and Erin. Stepfather of Pamela and Rachael. Much loved grandfather. Loving brother to Pauline, Colm, Brendan, John, Rosemary and the late Caroline and Evelyn.

Seamus will be reposeing at his late residence, 7 Springburn Road, today 28th April.
at 5pm
Funeral from there on Thursday 30th April at 9.20am to St Marys Church Ardmore for requiem mass at 10am,
Interment afterwards in St.Marys Cemetery

Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by all his family and everyone that knew him.

Sacred heart of jesus have mercy on his soul.
Our Lady of Knock pray for him.

Well done to Dunfanaghy Youths players Fiadh, Aisling and Clara who represented Donegal u13s today against Roscommon. They won 3-0 and are now through to the All Ireland finals in Kilkenny at the end of May. Well done to all three girls for doing the parish proud. Well done to Clara for captaining Donegal to victory.

We have been sent a photo that was possibly taken in and around the Creeslough area. The person who contacted us thinks the photo was taken by one of her great uncles whose surname was Kelly.
