All quilts will remain local.

As promised, here are some places that will gladly take blankets you make: Brigham City Hospital, Same Day Surgery need quilts constantly and would love all the blankets you can get them. Labor and Delivery will take receiving blankets gladly. Little Lambs in Logan needs receiving blankets, single layer fleece blankets, and baby quilts. (They are open M-F 9 to 2) The Family Place in Brigham and Cache Valley will always take blankets. If you prefer to make larger blankets, New Hope in Brigham will take them. They will take blankets for adults, too. Those are the main ones who will definitely feel the loss of Project Linus. Thanks again everyone for helping our chapter help so many kids the past 14 months. Together we have done great things!

This morning I took out the last of the quilts and blankets. I also did the quarterly report and then I informed PL Headquarters that our Chapter is closed as of today, June 16, 2025. But I want to share our final numbers with you. Our Chapter, in 14 months, donated 1599 blankets. That is absolutely amazing. I think we did well and we should all pat ourselves on the back. We did great. Thank you, everyone!

Last drop off to the hospital. 90 quilts. And on the way in with a wagon full of blankets a teenager was walking out from surgery with one of our blankets. It made me happy to see her get one but sad to be done. So many mixed emotions. Brigham Hospital Same Day surgery said they will gladly take donations from individuals, so if you are looking for a great place donate to, keep them in mind.

Just one more week to get the last of the blankets in to me. June 15 is the deadline. I’m leaving on vacation the 19th and I need to have everything wrapped up by then. Thanks everyone for all you have done. Again, I am so sorry to close our Chapter. The next closest Chapter is SLC to the south and Boise to the north. I will be preparing a list of local places who will take blankets. I’ll get that posted soon. I love you all and thank you.

*please read* It is with a heavy heart that I announce that I will be unable to be the Coordinator for our Chapter after next month. I have had a lot of fun this past year and it has been very heart warming to be a part of this. But due to personal reasons I need to step away. As of now I have not found a replacement, but I sincerely hope someone will step forward. If you are at all interested please get in touch with me and I will gladly answer questions. I hate to see this Chapter close, so please strongly consider taking this position or recommending someone who can.
I will stay in close contact with everyone for the next little while. If you have blankets to donate or supplies you have taken, please get everything to me soon. I will deliver all of the blankets on hand by the end of June. If no one takes this position then all of the monies and supplies will go back to the National office.
Thank you everyone! And thank you for the support that you've shown me.

I have about a dozen small fleece “lovies” that need crocheted around. They already have the holes for the stitching cut into the edge. Anyone interested?

We already have 11 entries in our May contest! Get your blankets in to get your name in the drawing, too! 😊

The challenge for May: simply donate a blanket. For every blanket you donate you get put into the monthly drawing. So 1 blanket equals 1 entry. Or 12 blankets will get you 12 entries. The blanket must be completely finished and ready for a child to love. Mention that you are doing the FB May Challenge. I can't wait to see all.of your creations!
