In line with the recently mandated National Budget Circular No. 602 issued by the Department of Budget and Management on April 23, 2026, all government agencies and local government units are directed to adopt cost-saving measures and realign resources to programs addressing the economic and social impact of the ongoing energy crisis, pursuant to Executive Order No. 110, s. 2026.
Guided by this directive, and with the welfare of all Danawanons as our highest priority, the City Government of Danao will be implementing adjustments to the 65th Charter Celebration. Activities will be simplified, allowing resources to be redirected toward essential services and priority programs that directly benefit the community. In this regard, Sidlak Queen 2026: The Global Empress is hereby ๐๐๐ก๐๐๐๐๐๐.
Despite these necessary changes, the Charter Celebration will continue with Garbo sa Danao 2026 that reflect the resilience, unity, and pride of Danao City. Updates on scheduled activities will be shared through the official page of the Danao-City Gov't.
More importantly, the true essence of our Charterhood lies not only in celebration, but in understanding, cooperation, and shared responsibility. This is a collective decision made in the interest of the greater good โ an opportunity for the entire community to come together and take part in practical and responsive measures for the welfare of all.
We ask for the understanding, respect, and continued support of every Danawanon as we move forward with prudence, solidarity, and a strong commitment to public service.
