3/18 UPDATE: Roxanne and pups spent some time in a foster home and came back today (planned vacation for the foster). We have sent Roxannes puppies back out into several foster homes so they can grow up just a wee bit more, and then be spayed/neutered and ready for adoption. Roxanne loved being in a foster home where she could have some time away from her puppies...and their little teeth. Roxanne will likely be made available for adoption soon!
343289 Roxanne and 9 puppies, female Pit Bull mix, 3 yrs. 40 lbs. Roxanne was removed from her home along with many other dogs. Conditions in the home, and conditions of the dogs not good at all. Roxanne and her puppies are living in an office. Her puppies are about 3 weeks old I would guess. They arrived on 2/9. Puppies are doing some traveling around the room so not all featured in the photo here. There are 6 females and 3 males in Roxannes litter. She is a good mama. Very sweet and loving with people. She is scared when the other dogs bark at her and will pancake, and is a little spazzy on leash, but easy to direct and manage.
UPDATE 3/3: One of Roxannes puppies went to foster as he was very small and not thriving with large group. Puppies are now about 5-6 weeks old. Busy, active and running all around. Mom wishes she could pack up and leave! She is still being a good mom but we can tell she is tired and would like some alone time. We may be separating them soon if no rescue is found together.
