Hey Naples!

Budget discussions are happening NOW.
Visit the link in Bio/ Comments to see what cuts and adjustments are being made, and make your voice heard if you feel strongly about how our tax dollars are being directed.

The crew at NRG would like to see our library services maintained for our kiddos, and our resources at the Colorado Lagoon fire station preserved.

With 3 new high density units being built next to an egress-challenged community, a shopping center, and the Shore, we need fire resources close by.

Libraries are a place for families kids to gather and learn, for free. The crew at NRG would not be able to spell “Olympics,” or “Palisades,” or “Fiscal Fiduciary Duty” without them.

To support everyone’s coast, we need to keep resources here! ❤️

Hey Naples!

We heard that there were some concerns about a gas line leak.

Car veered into a home around 7:30 pm, striking a gas line. Although some streets are cordoned off, we were told the gas line was capped.

The crew at NRG thanks our wonderful fire department for the response, and hope that homeowner, driver, and pedestrians are doing ok.

Nightly walks are pretty amazing when you see the sunset and high tides.

Don’t forget to duck if you plan on a cruise in the canals!

The crew at NRG usually roots for the paddler or boater, but the bridges usually win 🥊

Hey Neighbors!

Utilities Repair Update on Ravenna Drive (as of Tuesday, July 21, 2026):

Long Beach Utilities’ approved emergency repair contractor, Mike Prlich and Sons, has reopened Ravenna Drive until 10:30 PM. The contractor will return to continue emergency repairs this evening from 10:30pm until 5:00 AM the following day (7/22). Ravenna Drive, between Corinthian and Campo Walk, will be closed to traffic during this time. This overnight work is crucial as sewer flow rates are at their lowest and helps facilitate the construction of a new connection to the existing sewer main. 💩

Work on Wednesday 7/22/26 may continue during the day if the work on Tuesday night is completed early, but sewer main repair will resume on Thursday 7/23/26 with road closures from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Emergency sewer repairs are expected to be completed by the end of July 2026, barring any unforeseen circumstances. Long Beach Utilities extends its appreciation to the community and for your cooperation as they make these important infrastructure improvements.
