Fernandez Garden Community Empowerment Fernandez Garden Community Empowerment is about Community Adoption for Development. We can change our condition from our Community level. The C.I.S.R.P.

Fernandez Garden A Small Community, nested between Stewart Town to the North and Huddersfield and Mango Valley to the South in ST. Mary, Jamaica, WI, has embarked on a Prototype Programme for other Communities to Emulate, It is called Community Infrastructure Self Reliance Program (C.I.S.R.P) that has been designed to help with the improvement of its Infrastructure Economic, Income Generation, Sel

f Worth and PRIDE. The above Association is seeking a solution to the economic inequality and injustices that has Plagued the Jamaican Communities for years for far too long we have consistently depended on the Government and other nations to provide our people with the basic things of life "Food,Clothing, Shelter, and Employment." There is increasing decline in our Social Political, And Economical Standards. Our development as a People will be achieved through "OUR OWN EFFORT" in our Community. As Conscientious Citizens we have the Legally Recognized Charter to Change our often Inhumane Conditions. Through Education and Motivation we can Empower Ourselves to Accomplish these Feats and Consequently change our Psychological outlook. Lacking confidence in ourselves Resulting in Economical Productivity among our Community People. The common out-cry in most communities "WE NEED HELP." Let That Help Comes From Within. Let us Relieve our Fears now. The concept of self help seeks to demonstrate low simple community as your and mine can cooperate and become self sustainable it is the Believe of the citizens in Fernandez and neighbouring Communities that the C.I.S.R.P cannot only develop Fernandez Garden but ST. Mary and Jamaica at large.. Fernandez Garden Community Empowerment is a local organization dedicated to the upliftment of community by utilising the Community Infrastructure Self Reliance Programme, (C.I.S.R.P.). allows community members across Jamaica to collectively collaborate efforts in the reasonable maintenance of roads, water, cleanliness and beautification, of their communities. Such operations will be done only after
the approval of all agencies responsible for such projects, mainly the Parish Council. Our programme is designed to give members of a given community, an opportunity to join together manually or financially, to help in maintaining their environments. If funds are not available, members of such community can create fundraising events (as we are currently doing), to help in the process. Community members can also solicit grants from reputable sources for the given project, however small. Even some good ideas will be accepted! Items presented for the fundraiser can be any marketable, element produced by the community. At present our items presented for donations are displayed for sale at our meeting venues. Fundraiser items are also available through Facebook

We are currently seeking worldwide support through donations, (Churches, banks, schools, businesses, etc.), both locally and internationally. DONATIONS ARE VERY WELCOME- HELP US TO HELP OURSELVES!
