This isn’t quite goodbye but just wanted to share our last report for the year.

We’ll do another farewell post closer to Nov 30 and the new team showing up - but this is basically the vibes of what we have to say anyway.

TL;DR? Thanks guys - it’s been a lot of fun!

MONASH @ DIVERSITY CONFERENCE

Not many would choose another Uni as their mid-sem break destination, but that’s exactly what we did.

This year’s NUS Diversity Conference was held at Flinders Uni, where reps and leaders from around the country congregated to learn how we can collectively do better in ethnocultural and intersectional leadership.

In addition to learning an awful lot and meeting great people, we had fun sharing our own stories and perspectives on student leadership, all in the interests of creating a better standard of student leadership across the country.

Thank you to all the presenters, the guest speakers and for having us - we can’t wait to see what’s next!

🚨 MILESTONE 🚨
monash have passed the 1,000 signature mark on their campaign.

Join the conversation through the link in our bio, and show Monash that we won’t accept them gutting enviro investment for profit.

Join us in calling on the Monash University Council to save the MSDI - because now is the time to invest MORE in saving our climate, not less.

Cost cutting will help the bottom line but screw the rest of us over - Monash can not be allowed to cede this space or cut these jobs.

ESJxPOC @ DIVCON25!!!

Amazing presentation on Intersectionality at the Diversity Conference Day 3 from 2026 ESJ OB and current POC OB (.poc) with colleagues from and also pulling tf up!!!

Eye-opening stuff hearing of lived experience whilst inspiring genuine hope for the future - and with these leaders providing the way forward, how could you not be at least a little optimistic?

On Wednesday of ESJ week, we held the biggest ESJ event in years - the ‘Fossil-Free Monash: Forum Fest For Climate’

Over 400 people showed their support for change at Monash - specifically, a move away from fossil fuels and climate criminals that fund our research and our degrees.

Thanks to our friends at and we had a great day featuring fantastic guests leading our uni community towards a better, cleaner, greener future.

If you attended, what was your favorite part - and if you didn’t, don’t worry! You can always get involved with the Stop Woodside movement at Monash - just send them or us a message when you get a chance.

Decisions are made by those who show up. In ESJ week, you did just that. Thank you.
