HOW TO CONTACT ME
Hello everyone. I was in the hospital and rehab for a bit— Feb through July. My phone service was turned off during that time (about 5-6 months). I am reachable via email or I may give you a WhatsApp number until I can either restore my past numbers for phone and cell or get new numbers.

I’m trying to get past numbers restored but the phone company has made no assurances that they will be. They just have me going through the process. My various email addresses still work or you can contact me via Facebook or LinkedIn. Sorry for making it hard and for forgetting that people would try me via phone. Thank you for your patience as I figure this out. Hopefully it will not take that long.

THE MADTECH ED SERIES
The MadTech Ed Series kicks off Tuesday, Sept 5, 2023, at 12 Noon, at Madison Public Library. The series aims to make technology approachable, useful, touchable, and usable for small businesses and nonprofits. Our goal is to get you working smarter and faster, not harder. MadTech is a series of 10 workshops. The classes are deliberately small so that you can ask the questions you need to understand and put into play the skills and techniques you learn.

The first three workshops are live for registration. SPACE IS LIMITED. You can sign up for all sessions or cherry-pick a few. We schedule over the lunch hour in case you can't get professional development time. Bring lunch with you. The sessions are 1.5 hours.

Learn the technology skills you need for your job or your business. The MadTech Ed provides—usable tech skills that are easy to understand.

Adobe Flash End of Life (EOL)!
I got to say… I thought it dead already. I guess the first announcement was in 2017, but it was kind of dead in the water with the release of HTML5. I feel like, I started blocking Flash ages ago. So long ago, that it has been years since I've had to actively block because it just doesn't come up that often. Adios Adobe Flash.

This session is an exploration of tools. Let's get into the grit of tools you should absolutely know about and make intelligent decisions about should they be apart of your work process. From writing helpers to image editors to video editors to sound editors, to sound repositories, image libraries, layout apps, keyboards, Giphy(s), Emojies, and Bitmojis. It is a wild, wild world out there. We can't cover everything, because we assume you'd like to go home or at least back to work, but this session will get you started with tools and ideas that can help your communications pack a punch. Thursday, April 16, 2020.
