One of Our PCSN Clients Needs Your Help 💛

Danet, one of our Phoenix Cancer Support Network clients, has been fighting ocular melanoma that spread to her liver for the past four years. Recent scans found new small areas of cancer in her bones and a lymph node, and her care team is now exploring next steps.

As appointments increase and the weight of ongoing care grows heavier, we'd love to help lighten the load for Danet and her family. Meals, gift cards, or donations all make a difference. She eats gluten-free and non-inflammatory, so gift cards let her choose what works best for her.

TODAY is National Nonprofit Day! 💙

Every dollar donated to PCSN goes directly to supporting cancer patients and their families in Phoenix:

$25 = 3 meals for a cancer patient
$50 = A PCSN care package for someone in treatment
$75 = 2 round trip rides to a medical appointment
$100 = A month of groceries for a patient and their family

🎸 We're excited to share that Phoenix Cancer Support Network has been invited to be a featured nonprofit at the George Thorogood & The Destroyers concert on August 14 at Gila River Resorts & Casinos – Wild Horse Pass!

George Thorogood established the Marla Thorogood Ovarian Cancer Fund in honor of his wife, Marla, who passed away from ovarian cancer in 2019. Through the fund, the band partners with local cancer organizations across the country to raise awareness and support those impacted by cancer.

If you're attending the show, be sure to stop by our table to learn more about PCSN and the free support services we provide to cancer patients and their families throughout Arizona. We look forward to seeing you there!
