Western HSO's last meeting is next Tues. April 7 @ 4:30pm in The SPACE (104 Kumm Center). Food may be provided and you may feel free to bring some to share with the group (AKA potluck but voluntary). Come and see everyone before the term ends.

Donation Drive-Thru Event - March 13th 9-3pm

Ready to do some spring cleaning? Clean out your closets and donate any new or gently used men's, women's, and/or children's clothing items to Western's Cares Clothing Drive-Thru Event on Friday, March 13th from 9-3pm in Parking Lot H at Western Technical College.

This event will be held in conjunction with our E-Waste Event, so feel free to bring in any old electronics you'd like to get rid of as well - you will be able to drive through the parking lot and stop along the way to discard E-Waste in one area and clothes in another. These events are open to the public. Please follow signage and drive safely.

Distribution Event - March 26th 10am - 7pm

The Western Cares Community Clothing Event is hosted by Western's Basic Needs Team and our Distribution event will be held on Thursday, March 26th from 10am - 7pm in the Lunda Center. This event is also open to the Public. All clothing items will be free for community members to shop and take and community resources will be available as well.

If you are interested in volunteering for either the donation drive-thru event on March 13th, the Distribution event on March 26th, or would like to help sort clothes or set up for the event, please check out volunteer listing on UGetConnected.org or reach out to Julie Christensen at [email protected].

Want to get rid of old technology item? Let us help you properly recycle? Bring your E-Waste to Western's Parking Lot H on Friday, March 13th from 9am - 3pm on the corner of 8th and Badger Street. Waste must be transported in a vechicle's trunk, pickup bed or trailer. Workers will not enter backseat of vehicles to retrieve waste. This event is brought to you by Western's Student Run Help Desk and Dynamic Lifecycle Innovations

*Note: This event is happening in conjunction with our Western Cares Community Clothing donation drive-thru event in Parking Lot H.
