Why Should You Be Interested?

1.You would be honoring the memory of our forebears who inspired ideals for the founding of our great Constitutional Republic.

4.With your record on file with the Society, it would be easier for your descendants to establish their genealogical lines.

7.As a member, you would receive the Arizona Society newsletter, the Mayflower Log, three times a year, providing historical articles as well as society news, and the General Society Mayflower Quarterly, a magazine providing current information and views on Pilgrim history.

The Arizona Mayflower Society requests the honor of the presence of our members and their guests at the 2026 Annual Meeting, Sunday, April 26th, 2026. The Annual Meeting of the Mayflower Descendants in the State of Arizona will include a luncheon, followed by a special presentation from Governor General Lisa Pennington.

The AZMS Annual Meeting is less than 3 months away. The Annual Meeting is scheduled for April 26, 2026.

The meeting with be at The McCormick Resort Scottsdale

Our speaker at the Annual Meeting is Lisa Pennington, Governor General of the General Society of Mayflower Descendants. She will give a presentation discussing the Mayflower Society on the national level and also install the new Executive Board Members for the 2026-2029 term.

Looking for volunteers to serve on the Executive Board 2026-2029

As many are aware, at the Annual Meeting to be held in April, the leadership of the Executive Board will begin its service for the 2026-2029 term. The Nominations Committee is looking for individuals to volunteer for open positions. The current open positions include:

1. Secretary
2. Member Engagement Chair
3. Hospitality Chair

If you are interested in serving on the Board or have questions, please contact a member of the Nominations Committee.

As many might already know, Captain of the Arizona Society, Thomas (Tom) Drummond, passed away November 25, 2025 while traveling to visit family members for Thanksgiving.

His family has planned a Celebration of Live Service that Arizona Society Members (and their plus ones) are invited to attend. The service will be:

Saturday February 21, 2026, at 10 AM

There will be reception following the service.

Compact Registration Deadline is Coming Soon!

This is a friendly reminder that the registration deadline for Compact Day is Sunday November 16th. Because this is a catered event, we need to supply the venue the meal numbers a week in advance and there will be no at-the-door registration available.
