Moynalty Macra Moynalty branch of Macra na Feirme - an organisation for young people in rural Ireland.

It's a great way to meet people in your community and learn some new skills along the way - in the workshops and county competitions throughout the year :) Moynalty Macra na Feirme is based in Moynalty village, Co Meath, and was formed in 2002. In recent years Moynalty has represented the county nationally in welding, beef and sheep stock judging, debating, and farms skills – this year ranking thi

rd – as well as having the county representatives for Mr Personality in two out of the last three years, and making it to the top 14 clubs in the country last year! We often go on club trips including going bowling, ice-skating, on road trips to Kilkenny for Mr Personality or to the Massey Ferguson Factory Museum in France! Our ducking chair has become a familiar sight to locals where it has a place at local events such as the Moynalty Steam Threshing, the Oldcastle Agriculture Show and the St Michael's GAA Fun Day - to name but a few. We hold fundraisers every year, with cheques being awarded to charities such as the Friends of St Joseph’s Association, SOSAD or the Gerry Kelly Foundation.
