The Drop Project WATER! Its all about water, everything is. Its why we are able to be here, but its our responsibility to use it respectfully. The Drop Project will help us

Drop Project's Mission Statement:

The Mission of the Drop Project is to change the way we interact with our natural environment by dynamically reengaging people in their water resources. Drop Project Strategic Goals:

- To reconnect or reestablish a connection between people and their natural resources.

- Enlighten people to natural resource usage and general environmental education.

- To red

uce natural resource use through education, leadership, and partnerships. Freshwater is our primary focus. The Drop Project's ground zero area is the Colorado River Basin, which includes 40 million people and important agricultural land through 7 U.S. states and Mexico. The Colorado River has not reached the Sea of Cortez (also known as the Gulf of California) since 1998. 2 of the Top 10 most endangered rivers in America are here in Colorado! They are under threat from overuse, continued diversions, and the oil and gas industry. The Drop Project seeks to create a more informed culture that conserves water resources, encourages wise use, restores damaged areas of the Colorado River basin and to leaves our water healthier and more plentiful than we found it. This is not another conservancy, this is a dynamic project built to create cultural change. It not just what we know, its how we live.
