💉 A new 1-minute immunotherapy injection is being rolled out across England for thousands of cancer patients each year (around 14,000).

The treatment replaces lengthy IV infusions with a quick under-the-skin jab for eligible patients receiving pembrolizumab (Keytruda), helping reduce time spent in hospital while freeing up NHS capacity.

The jab can be used across 14 different cancer types, including lung, breast, bowel, cervical and skin cancers.

🩸✨ A major step forward in cancer care

🏥 The Royal Marsden has launched MyTrack Myeloma, the world’s first fully integrated care pathway for multiple myeloma.

🧬 Myeloma is a type of blood cancer that affects plasma cells in the bone marrow, which are important for fighting infections. It can weaken bones, damage the immune system, and cause ongoing health issues.

🔬 By combining advanced testing with expert care, this approach helps tailor treatment to each patient, ensuring the right care at the right time.

💊 It could even allow some patients to safely reduce or pause treatment, improving quality of life.

🇬🇧 With around 6,000 people diagnosed each year in the UK, this innovation brings hope for more personalised, effective care.

🕺🏻 Artur Dabrowski, a dance school teacher, is currently fighting Glioblastoma, an aggressive brain tumour.

💉 He is undergoing urgent treatment and now has the chance to receive DCVax-L, a promising personalised cancer vaccine that could make a real difference in his fight. Unfortunately, this treatment is not yet available on the NHS, and the costs are extremely high.

😌 Artur is a beloved teacher, mentor, and inspiration to so many in the dancing community.

𝗧𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗢𝘃𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗗𝗮𝘆

🙍‍♀️Each year, around 324,000 women worldwide are diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Despite advances in research, it remains the deadliest gynaecological cancer in the UK.

🎗️ Ovarian cancer begins when abnormal cells in the ovaries or fallopian tubes grow uncontrollably, forming a tumour. These cells can spread to surrounding tissues and other parts of the body. It most commonly affects women over 50.

⚠️ There are many possible symptoms, but four key ones to watch for are:
• persistent bloating or a swollen tummy
• pelvic or abdominal pain
• difficulty eating or feeling full quickly
• needing to urinate more urgently or more often

🏥 These symptoms can be subtle and are often mistaken for other conditions, which is why ovarian cancer is frequently diagnosed late. However, earlier diagnosis can make it more treatable.

🚨 If you experience one or more of these symptoms for three weeks or more, especially if they are new, frequent, or unusual for you, contact your GP. It does not necessarily mean cancer, but it is important to get checked.

1️⃣ It was the first London Marathon for Matt Henderson, who ran in support of Arcobaleno Cancer Trust, proudly wearing our purple running vest.

💙 Matt chose to take on this challenge in memory of his grandad, who sadly passed away from prostate cancer in 2017. He wanted to honour him while supporting vital cancer research.

🙌 Over the past few months, Matt has been incredibly busy, not only training hard but also raising funds. He even organised a quiz night to support his efforts.

🏅 We are very proud to have such wonderful supporters, and once again, we want to thank Matt for everything he has done for us.

🙋🏻 Luke has been one of our dedicated supporters for over a decade, regularly attending our events and standing by Arcobaleno Cancer Trust throughout the years. His continued commitment has meant a great deal to us.

🏃🏻‍➡️ This year, he took on an incredible challenge by running his second marathon in support of our cause, proudly joining the world famous London Marathon. Raising funds and awareness for cancer research was at the heart of his motivation, and he approached it with determination and generosity.

🏃🏻 The London Marathon 2026 was Matteo Maritati’s first ever marathon. He trained hard for this challenge, running in memory of his dad, Sasà, who passed away from lung cancer when Matteo was just 17.

💪 It has been amazing to see his enthusiasm and dedication, especially through his Instagram stories, which he shared almost every day, showing his training and helping spread the word about Arcobaleno Cancer Trust.

🌈 Thank you, Matteo, for everything you have done for us. We hope this is just the first of many marathons to come.
