المونديال في الأشرفية قبل ٤٠ عاما"…

كان اللبنانيون في الأشرفية والمناطق اللبنانية كافة يتابعون مونديال مكسيكو 1986 بالاعتماد على بطاريات السيارات لتشغيل التلفزيونات نتيجة الانقطاع التام للتيار الكهربائي وغياب المولدات الكبيرة (الاشتراكات) في ذروة الحرب>

تلك الحقبة التاريخية تميزت بابتكارات وحلول شعبية استثنائية لمشاهدة المونديال الذي نقله تلفزيون لبنان رسميّاً ومجاناً، وتتلخص تفاصيلها كالآتي:

- هندسة "الوصلات المنزلية" العجيبة حيث التلفزيونات الصغيرة مربوطة بمحولات الطاقة البدائية من بطاريات السيارات أو الاستعانة بشريط الكهرباء الطائر المسروق من عواميد الدولة.

- الأجواء الاجتماعية في الأشرفية - سينما الحي حيث تحولت الشقة التي تمتلك بطارية مشحونة وجهاز تلفزيون صغير إلى ملتقى للجيران وأبناء الحي؛ فيتجمع العشرات في غرفة واحدة لمتابعة أهداف مارادونا التاريخية أو نتائج العمالقة كالألمان والطليان والبرازيليون. يضاف ان هدنة المونديال الأهلية كانت تسري على الجميع ورغم القصف ورصاص القنص الذي كان يقطع شوارع بيروت، كانت جبهات القتال تهدأ نسبياً خلال المباريات، حيث يتسمر المقاتلون والمواطنون خلف الشاشات الصغيرة نفسها بانتظار هوية البطل.
