Thank you for joining the Peer Round Table Discussion Sessions hosted by Safe Housing Alliance, Collaborative Solutions, and the National Network to End Domestic Violence. We appreciate the dialogue, expertise, and insights you provided, which have elevated the experiences of organizations supporting survivors in rural, grassroots, and faith-based communities.
During the previous peer discussion sessions, collective housing challenges were identified, and key promising community-based practices that support survivors across the country were shared. We invite you to continue the conversation as we share the primary challenges, barriers, and emerging best practices highlighted, addressing:
1. Working in formal housing systems inside and outside of the Continuum of Care;
2. Challenges and barriers encountered in navigating housing systems outside of formal systems, and
3. Innovative, nuanced community practices and partnerships organizations have developed to continue supporting survivors despite these challenges and barriers.
Please consider sharing this invitation with organizations in your network, community, or state that support survivors, especially those who would benefit from gaining insights into developing innovative, community-rooted housing solutions and approaches.
