Great post from Michigan State Historic Preservation Office on Michigan historic post offices! Our Lincoln Park Historical Museum, the former Lincoln Park Post Office, is on the National Register of Historic Places plus has a Michigan Historical Marker! It was designed by Louis A. Simon, the supervising architect of the US Treasury from 1934 - 1939. The position was abolished after his term.
