Maintaining a 150-year-old depot is no easy task, and restoration and cleaning efforts have been going on all summer long. Thank you to the museum members that have volunteered their time, tools, and materials in preparation for our upcoming Depot 150 event, now just 9 days away! These photos show just a small part of the projects that have been underway and people that have been hard at work.

The Olmsted Falls Depot and Model Railroad Museum turns 150 this year! We will be having a celebration on Saturday 9/12 and Sunday 9/13 for the 150th anniversary of the opening of the depot. 10am-4pm on both days.

We're inviting the Olmsted Falls community and Northeast Ohio railroad history enthusiasts to come and help us celebrate. Visitors will be able to take guided tours of the depot and grounds to learn the history of the depot, the railroads that served the depot, and interesting stories of human events that occurred there. Other historical and railroad-related organizations will also be on hand for the event. We also have operating G, O, HO, and N scale model railroad displays inside the depot.

Saturday will feature the full celebration, including activities, vendors, and food trucks on site. Sunday will focus more primarily on guided depot history tours, with additional activities available throughout the day.

We look forward to seeing you at the Depot 150 celebration! A full list of vendors and food trucks will be available soon.
