Olmsted Falls Depot and Model Railroad Museum We are in Olmsted Falls, Ohio at the historic depot dedicated to its preservation & railroad history The depot is on the National Register of Historic Places.

The CV&WS is located in the historic depot in Olmsted Falls, Ohio. The depot was constructed in 1876 by the Lake Shore and Michigan Southern Railroad. The CV&WS maintains the depot and has constructed displays to educate the public about railroads and railroad history. The CV&WS is a volunteer organization and is a 501C3.

The Olmsted Falls Depot and Model Railroad Museum turns 150 this year! We will be having a celebration on Saturday 9/12 and Sunday 9/13 for the 150th anniversary of the opening of the depot. 10am-4pm on both days.

We're inviting the Olmsted Falls community and Northeast Ohio railroad history enthusiasts to come and help us celebrate. Visitors will be able to take guided tours of the depot and grounds to learn the history of the depot, the railroads that served the depot, and interesting stories of human events that occurred there. Other historical and railroad-related organizations will also be on hand for the event. We also have operating G, O, HO, and N scale model railroad displays inside the depot.

Saturday will feature the full celebration, including activities, vendors, and food trucks on site. Sunday will focus more primarily on guided depot history tours, with additional activities available throughout the day.

We look forward to seeing you at the Depot 150 celebration! A full list of vendors and food trucks will be available soon.
