Today, under the leadership of President Alungile Kamtshe, SASCO gathered in solemn unity to bid a final farewell to the late Cde James Tom, our former Treasurer General. It was a moment marked by reflection, memory, and deep gratitude for a life devoted to struggle and service.

The funeral brought together former SASCO NEC members, including Deputy Minister in the Presidency Cde Nonceba Mhlauli, alongside the leadership of the ANC Youth League and comrades from across the MDM, each presence a testament to the impact Cde Tom had on so many lives.

Though we part in sorrow, we carry forward his legacy, his discipline, and his unwavering commitment to the cause.
