South Carolina Association of Nepalese (SCAN) The association organizes at least two group events every year - one in April to celebrate Nepali New Year, and another in October to celebrate Dashain.

Promote welfare of all Nepalese living in South Carolina and Nepal
through various social, cultural and educational activities. South Carolina Association of Nepalese (SCAN) was founded in 2002 resulting from growth in Nepali community in South Carolina and the subsequent need to maintain fellowship and represent their causes in the USA. These as well

as other events provide opportunities for Nepalese spread over Greenville, Spartanburg, Clemson, Columbia, Charleston, Asheville and the surrounding areas to socialize with their fellow countrymen while enjoying some delicious food!
