If you're free Friday night, and enjoy the evensong of the Anglican church, this would be a good place to be. While this is not a Dead of Winter project, it owes its existence to DOW's (Camerata Nova) roots and particularly All Saints Anglican and the Men and Boys choir tradition.

In 2024, former choir boys and Camerata Nova members came together to sing one last time at the funeral for their friend and fellow chorister, Don Warrener. Many in this group had traveled together as boys or young men to England to sing evensong in some of the Anglican cathedrals. As they reminisced about their travels, the idea to recreate that experience was explored and the Collegium Chamber choir was born. The choir is made up of former Anglican choir boys, many of whom have gone to build careers from that experience, and current and past Camerata/DOW singers. It's a reunion of the best kind, and you are welcome to join them as they set out on their adventure to be the guest choir at Ely Cathedral, in Ely, UK.

You are invited to the Canadian premiere of Handel’s Arminio. The story of the Roman Empire’s attempted annexation of Germanic states in 9 CE is a story all too familiar in 2025. Our story begins on the battlefield but ends in the heart of a broken family. Handel’s thrilling music will keep you on the edge of your seat as characters are betrayed by their own families and hopes hang on by a thread. Come and see this historic tale told through a contemporary lens, accompanied by a chamber orchestra of soloists.

Concert season is coming up and we'd love to know of any Early Music concerts. Is your organization doing a Handel Performance? Any Madrigal dinners taking place? How about a Hildegard extravaganza? Anything concentrating on music from the Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque periods, we would be happy to share on our page. We love this music and are eager to hear more of it in Winnipeg.
