In a room filled with so much heart, we reflected on our Greatest Show-

We are brave.

Sometimes we walk a tightrope- balancing fear and faith.

Never about the applause.

Today, the DL link lost a friend, a colleague, and a true gem.

Beyond the role and our work, Carmen was someone who brought kindness and warmth into the lives of everyone around her. Her presence really made a difference to our Warriors, and her absence will be felt, by us all.

We will remember her laughter, the support,
and the impact she had on our community.

Our thoughts are with the Emanuel family, her dear friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

There’s something about December- the season of light- that truly reflects what DL Link is all about, bringing light where it’s needed most. Our end of the year dance party was a huge success, because sometimes there’s nothing like dancing to let go and feel that joy.

Here’s to 2026, filled with healing, in our incredible new Centre, and the many happy faces that will walk through its doors.💛

In soccer, the moment the ball hits the back of the net- it’s a huge celebration- a victory filled with enormous teamwork and cheerleaders on the sidelines rooting for you!

In life, when a Warrior reaches the end of chemo- it’s the greatest goal of all.
Every round, every treatment, every day of showing up- it’s all part of the “match.”

There are challenges, there are substitutions, and sometimes extra time… but at DL Link, no one plays alone. 💛

One day a year, the roads of Joburg belong to the riders.. and this year, 137 DL Link cyclists took to the streets for our Cancer Warriors.đź’›
