BioBuddies UBC is a student-run initiative that aims to teach elementary school kids how to be real scientists in the fields of zoology and botany. Along with exposing the students to concepts in zoology and botany through hands-on field and lab activities, the program gives students the unique opportunity to pursue their own independent research projects (field study or experiment) on a topic of their choosing with guidance from a biology undergraduate mentor.
