Quick update on Melincourt waterfall - any comments please click on the original link and comment for a response as we are only sharing and keeping our community updated.

We’re pleased to share an update on the ongoing footpath improvements at Melincwrt Nature Reserve.

Our team has been making steady progress on essential safety works to the site which have been hampered by recent severe weather and storms.

However, we’re excited to confirm that we’re on track to reopen the footpath by the end of March 2026 or potentially even sooner if weather conditions continue to improve.

Thank you for your patience and support as we enhance this much loved route. We’ll share a confirmed reopening date as soon as we’re able.

This project is made possible thanks to the Shared Prosperity Fund and our Heritage, Culture, Tourism and Events grant, delivered in collaboration with the Welsh Wildlife Trust.
