Empowering Women Through Skills and Opportunities
ZABTech, in collaboration with the Old Boys Welfare Association, has officially launched three women-focused vocational training programs at the Old Boys Welfare Association Vocational Training Center, Dhoronaro.
A total of 75 women have been selected to participate in the following skill-development courses:
🔹 Baby Garments
🔹 Domestic Tailoring
🔹 Appliqué Work & Ralli Making
As part of the program, each selected participant will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 5,000 throughout the training period.
Today, an orientation session was conducted to formally commence the three training programs. The participants were briefed on the course structure, training objectives, expectations, and the opportunities these skills can create for their future.
The session was attended by:
Mr. Mukesh Kumar – District Coordinator, ZABTech Umerkot
Mr. Vijay Kumar – SO, ZABTech Umerkot
Mr. Muhammad Hasan – General Secretary, Old Boys Welfare Association
Lakha Dino Mangrio Member Executive Committee OBA
In our area, women have limited access to employment, vocational training, and income-generating opportunities. This initiative is therefore an important step toward creating a supportive pathway for women to acquire practical, marketable skills and become more economically independent.
Through these training programs, the initiative aims to enhance women’s skills, confidence, employability, and entrepreneurial potential, enabling them to contribute more effectively to their families and communities.
Alhamdulillah, this is more than just vocational training—it is an investment in women, their potential, and their future.
🌸 Empowered Women. Skilled Communities. A Brighter Future.
