In the midst of finals, as your peace may suffer because of last minute studying or large projects that can make or break your grade, remember that Jesus has left you with an otherworldly peace. A peace that cant be taken away. It may not be a peace you always feel, but just a reminder to meditate and study God's Word this week as well! When all else fails, God's Word doesnt.

"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your heart be troubled and do not be afraid"

John 14:27

"What has the Lord been showing, teaching, or challenging you with during this quarantine?"

"I'm currently in the book of Psalms and I see how the Psalmists express their confusion towards God, yet still praise Him. Right now I feel confusion with this whole situation and when we can go back to school in person, when we can see friends again.
Still, seeing in Psalms how people praise God in the midst of confusion encourages me to do the same. I'm reminded of how God was sovereign over the plagues in Egypt, and He used it to display His holiness and power to the Egyptians and to Israel. It gives me hope knowing He is in control over the virus as well."

"Why are you cast down, O my soul?
And why are you disquieted within me?
Hope in God;
For I shall yet praise Him,
The help of my countenance and my God."
Psalm 42:11

Remember that time when we did a sock exhange for Christmas? When everyone ended up with great socks, except Jessica. She got stinky socks...But remember how fun it was when we didn't have to social distance? Those were good times.
