Achkiy jewellery was handmade by women in shanty towns in Peru so that they could stay at home and raise their kids, whilst earning a non-poverty wage. The women have since been paid for all their work and the company no longer exists, however I have been given permission to sell the remaining jewellery to raise money for M10 Missions. Proceeds will go towards building a house for a family living in a shanty town, local orphanages and rehab centres, and the distribution of food, water, and first aid supplies at ‘the dump.’

Please let me know if there is anything you would like. There is limited stock, but we do have some designs in various colour options. Please drop me a message if you have any questions about designs/colours.

M10 Missions offers teenagers from the North East of England the opportunity to learn valuable life skills including teamwork, leadership, communication, and empathy, to help build a home for a family in Ensenada, Mexico.

I am going out in July as a leader with this year’s group of teenagers and need to raise money towards the trip.

M10 is an oraganisation which teaches young people life skills across monthly training sessions, in preparation for a 10 day trip to Mexico.

During the trip, young people from the North East of England have the opportunity to visit orphanages, rehab and refuge centres, and build a house for a family less fortunate than themselves.

From the 30th July to the 8th August this year, I will be travelling out as one of the “responsible adults” on this trip, but I need to raise £2,500 to fund this.

I first went to Mexico in 2008 with my parents and two younger sisters. While we were out there, some friends who help run the YWAM base out there, invited us to take part in a house build.

This was an amazing opportunity for us and even at just 7 years old, I could see the impact that we had on that family’s lives. I decided I would go back and help out on another house build, and returned in 2018 with M10 Missions.

Having been twice now, I am so excited to be joining M10 Missions for my third trip to Mexico, to take a new group of teenagers out. We will be doing another house build, as well as visiting orphanages, rehab centres, and “the dump,” to hear the stories of people living out there.

I did a trip to Mexico back in 2018 with M10 Missions, where myself and a group of other teenagers went to Mexico to visit rehab centres, orphanages, women’s refuge centres, and build houses.

The trip aims to help some of the poorest communities in the world, with the young people that go learning empathy and teamwork skills along the way.

This summer I am one of the leaders for M10 Missions. I will be engaging in monthly sessions to help equip the young people going with some of the skills they will need in Mexico, and I will be going on the trip itself. For this, I need to raise £2,500.

Hi, my name is Katie.

Back in 2018, I had the amazing opportunity to go visit Ensenada in Mexico with M10 Missions. Ensenada is an area in Mexico which is quite close to the American Border. Consequently a lot of shanty towns here are made up of people who were hoping to get over the border, and end up settling in this part of Mexico.

We visited rehab centres, women’s refuge centres, orphanages, “the dump,” and built houses for some of the families living here.

In July/August 2024 I will be going back, this time as a leader, and need to raise money to fund the trip. Anything donated will be massively appreciated. Thank you!
