Another week and another amazing walk completed with pur community in Coldhurst.

We covered just over 3 miles and have seen some excellent health improvements already.

We finished the day with some light snacks and tea and coffee and want to give our heartfelt thanks for Khau Galli for always supporting us and most importantly Transport for Greater Manchester who helped us make this happen.

Remember this is weekly and open to everyone.

🥊 MMA Sessions Reminder – My Coldhurst 🥊

A reminder that our popular MMA sessions for young people aged 10–18 are continuing every Sunday with Oldham Fight Academy 💪

These sessions have been running successfully since 2024 and continue to provide a positive space for young people to stay active, build confidence, learn discipline and meet others in a safe environment.

💚 Community Pride in Action – My Coldhurst 💚

Over the past two weeks, it’s been amazing to see residents coming together to make a real difference in our neighbourhood. From clearing rubbish and overgrown areas to improving alleyways that people use every day, the community spirit on display has been incredible.

Last week, volunteers helped clean and improve:
📍 Neath Street / Westbourne Street
📍 Hurst Street

This week, the hard work continued at:
📍 Ward Street / Davies Street
📍 St Hilda’s Drive / Mitchel Street
📍 Martha Street / Norman Street
📍 Tilbury Street / Trafalgar Street

These may seem like small changes to some, but to the people living here they mean cleaner, safer and more welcoming spaces for everyone. It’s not just about tidying alleyways — it’s about taking pride in where we live and showing what can happen when a community comes together.

A huge thank you to every resident, volunteer and supporter who gave up their time to help. Seeing so many people come out to clean their own area has been inspiring and shows the strength that exists within Coldhurst.
