This Thursday 13/8/26 the Orange Field Naturalist & Conservation Society (OFNCS) have reps from the Iberdrola Australia Project team speaking about the proposed Mullion Creek & Four Mile Creek Wind farms.
Although both are in state forests, the Four Mile Creek Farm would be just to the south of the Mt Canobolas State Conservation Area (SCA).

On Sunday 16/8/26, our field trip is to the Canobolas State Forest exploring the small peaks close to the SCA with Dr Colin Bower.

All are welcome to attend.

The Excursion follows a Thursday talk by Iberdrola regarding the Four Mile Creek Wind Farm and will explore the native vegetation and geology around several small peaks south of Mt Towac.
