It’s been a very long time but I wanted to share this pic with you all.
Carter had cochlear implant surgery in February and was off school for 2.5 months
I had help with Carter twice in them 2.5 months from my mum (she also had Benton for 10 days after the surgery 🥰) so found it a massive struggle as it was just me & Carter for 10 hours a day, 5 days a week.
Due to my fantastic work place I could take a small amount of time off but the rest of the time I was working at home and being Carters teacher, carer etc.
But that’s passed now and he’s doing absolutely amazing. I cannot believe the difference in his speech already.
Onwards & upwards, what doesn’t kill you, makes your stronger.
