Tuesday LUGS was a more relaxed session, where our members could relax and hang out. We had loads of games and music to make a low pressured environment to get some academic work done. 📖📚

We also invested one of our LUGS members!

LUGS hike in the peak district! A perfect weekend filled with sun, fun and lots of walking.

There were many great trails to follow, with lots of beautiful flowers, rivers and greenery; and of course sticks. And despite going on a bear hunt, there were no bears to catch: just some LUGS members taking shade from the sun. 🥾⛰️

Hopefully you all enjoyed this fantastic trip! Despite this being our end of year trip for LUGS,we still have a few great weeks left. We hope to see you all next week for some creative challenges. 🎲📑

Tuesday was all about escaping! Our scouts and guides fought against time (and each other) to see who could escape their room the fastest!

Each room held a different theme, with the team taking on the Magna carta coming out on top; escaping in just 33 min and 18 seconds!! 🧠🧩
The team in the shipwreck emerged not long after, thankfully they weren't forced to walk the plank.

Hopefully you all had a great and fun filled evening! We hope you all have a brilliant time over the easter break 🐣🍫🐇

Another fantastic week! Tuesdays celebration was St.Patricks day! ☘️🍻

A lovely quiz started off the night, with our scouts and guide's learning(hopefully) great irish words and phrases to use for Paddy's day!

The night couldn't be finished without some dancing, after following a tutorial they were fit for a céili! 👯‍♂️

I hope you all had a great night and learned some new words as well as some dance moves to show your friends! We shall see you next week for some escape style fun! 🧩🧠

Tuesday's game night was all about homemade fun for World Thinking Day! 🧠🧢

Our scouts and guides put their skills to the test with challenges all related to the five world centres of scouting/guiding.

Tonight was a combination of both Pancake day; a great day to eat loads of pancakes 🤤🥞 and the celebration of Chinese new year! 🎊🧧

There were loads of great flips and tricky challenges involving chopsticks and frying pans, There were even a few tricks shots off a balcony
thankfully no pancakes were(or in our case wraps) were hurt in the making!

We hope you guys had loads of fun and tried to make some pancakes of your own! 🥞

A slightly different craft night tonight! Wax painting; a slow but rewarding challenge. The results turned out great! There were some really lovely patterns. 🖍️🕯️⏱️

Hopefully the candles are still as beautiful when they are burning (some got a head start). Now everyone has the skills to spruce up any old boring candles!

And we are back! Another fantastic night at LUGS. Tonight's refreshers night we played (many) games of bingo! With some yummy prizes 😋👍🎲

We played a few variations, some containing tasks for said prizes and others that made sweets bounce between quick hands. Well done to those who won,BINGO!!!!

It was great to see so many familiar faces again and we hope everyone enjoyed the night.

Hopefully we see you all next week for some truly melting artistry. 🖌️🫟🕯️
