Sikkim Ornithological Society Sikkim Ornithological Society Sikkim Ornithological Society was launched on 12th November 2005 at Himalayan Zoological Park (Bulbuley)
Shri.

K.C.Pradhan, conservationist and the retired Chief Secretary, Government of Sikkim initiated the formation of a separate entity, “Sikkim Ornithological Society.” Before the launch of the society, initial works were taken up by Sikkim Development Foundation under the guidance of its chairman, Mr.K.C.Pradhan.
