We’re not slowing down...and we’re definitely not staying quiet.

Because talking about it is where change begins.

It’s how awareness grows, how questions get asked, and how progress moves forward.

These conversations matter. They spark ideas, challenge norms, and keep the momentum behind brain injury research alive.

And we won’t stop talking about it, until awareness turns into action, and action turns into answers. 🙌

It started with a question. ❔

And changed everything.

When Chuck Noll challenged the status quo and asked for objective data after a player’s concussion, it sparked something much bigger than a single decision...it sparked a movement.

At a time when brain injuries weren’t fully understood, his insistence on answers helped drive a new standard for how concussions are evaluated, managed, and taken seriously across sports.

That question didn’t just change the game, it helped protect generations of athletes.

And it’s a legacy we’re proud to carry forward every day.

Our vision is clear: to diminish the impact of sports-related head injuries.

At the Chuck Noll Foundation, that means investing in research, advancing understanding, and supporting innovations that improve how brain injuries are prevented, diagnosed, and treated.

Because protecting athletes starts with progress, and we’re committed to driving it forward every day.

Not every brain injury comes from a single, obvious hit. 👊

This research is focused on what happens over time, how repeated, sub-concussive impacts can create measurable strain in the brain and lead to real tissue damage.

Using advanced imaging like Magnetic Resonance Elastography (MRE) and Diffusion MRI, researchers are tracking how the brain responds to these forces across a full season of play. 🧠

By combining brain imaging with real-time data from mouthguard sensors, this work is helping us better understand the cumulative effects of head impacts, and what it means for long-term brain health.

Because it’s not just one hit. It’s what happens after all of them.

This Memorial Day, we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country. 🇺🇸

At the Chuck Noll Foundation, we also recognize the importance of continuing to support the health and well-being of those who serve, through advancing research, raising awareness, and investing in the future of brain health.

Today, we remember with gratitude.

Our symposium is more than a gathering, it’s an opportunity to bring people closer to the latest evidence, innovation, and progress in concussion and brain health research. 🙌

By supporting the research community, the Chuck Noll Foundation helps bridge the gap between science and real-world impact, connecting groundbreaking discoveries with the patients, families, athletes, and communities they’re meant to serve.

These conversations matter.

The collaboration matters.

And together, we’re continuing to make an impact in the future of brain injury research.

Our annual Golf Outing is back on September 21, co-hosted by two LEGENDS: Merril Hoge and Jerome Bettis, bringing energy, purpose, and a little friendly competition to the course. ⛳

We’ll be gathering at the beautiful The Club at Nevillewood for a day that blends great golf, even better company, and a mission that matters.

Foursomes and sponsorships are still available, but they never last long.

$4.4M invested → $18.1M leveraged 👏

What that really means: more research, more answers, more hope.

Behind every dollar is someone who believed the work mattered.

And because of that belief, the impact doesn’t just grow...it compounds.

Fueling the future of brain injury research, together.

Every number in this report represents a person. 👭 👬

Every breakthrough starts with belief.

Because of our donors, we’re not just documenting the need…we’re meeting it.

Together, we’re moving brain injury research forward with urgency, compassion, and purpose.

Thank you. 🙏

Women’s health in brain injury research has been overlooked for far too long, and we’re working to change that. ♀️ 🧠

Through our partnership with Magee-Womens Research Institute and UPMC, the Chuck Noll Foundation is supporting critical research focused specifically on how concussions impact women.

From hormonal changes and menstrual cycle disruption to longer and more complex recovery timelines, this work is addressing gaps that have historically gone unstudied.

Together, we’re advancing a deeper understanding of women’s brain health, and helping move toward more personalized, effective care for female athletes and patients.
