Statement on By- Election Program in Mshwathi Municipality.

As SANCO YOUTH desk in Garnet Mlete, we are excited to share the success of today's program in uMshwathi ward 6. Our regional task team (RTT) visited households in this ward that's anticipating By-election, bringing goods and groceries to a less fortunate family as a symbol of our commitment to community development and compassiontowards fellow dwellers. The overwhelming support from residents confirmed our faith in the power of the ANC and its strides in how far we have come a people. Our efforts also extended to an unfair sight where we provided social aid and essential items to young individuals managing their home which is falling apart, all on their own. With support from the ANCWL in the region, we emphasized the importance of unity and empowerment in our communities. The SANCO YOUTH team in Garnet Mlete is dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the lives of community members.

Statement of Resolve: SANCO Youth Garnet Mlete Region

The SANCO Youth desk in the Garnet Mlete region, stands united in expressing it's profound dissatisfaction with the unacceptable behavior exhibited by Lulamile Mapholoba, the former municipal manager of uMsunduzi municipality in our region. His flagrant disregard for administrative norms and his self-serving actions have revealed a disturbing lack of humanity and accountability.

As a civic organization dedicated to fostering smooth governance, promoting conducive living environments, and empowering our youth, we cannot remain silent in the face of such egregious misconduct. It is deeply troubling that during Mapholoba's tenure, there has been a noticeable backlog in employment within municipal offices. We refuse to accept that this occurred without reason; it is evident that his negligence and incompetence have contributed to this dire situation.

We refuse to allow Mapholoba to continue jeopardizing our future with his reckless actions, akin to his habitual gambling tendencies. It is imperative that he vacates his position before inflicting further damage upon our municipality. If Mapholoba truly had the best interests of our city at heart, we would have seen tangible improvements under his leadership. Instead, we are left grappling with the repercussions of his mismanagement and disregard for the well-being of our community.

Furthermore, the recent biased portrayal of Mapholoba's character by the production team of the station where he was interviewed underscores the lack of credibility surrounding his narrative. By granting him a platform without considering alternative perspectives, they have perpetuated a skewed version of events, further eroding public trust.

We urge all stakeholders to join us in holding Mapholoba accountable for his actions and in demanding transparency and fairness in all matters concerning the governance of our municipality. Together, we will ensure that the voices of truth and justice prevail.
