Congratulations to Vihan and Jack, on being selected for the NZ World Junior Team for 2026!

We’re proud to announce the New Zealand Junior Squash Team heading to the 2026 World Junior Squash Championships later this year.

The world’s best young players will come together in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada, from 20–31 July 2026, and our juniors are ready to challenge themselves on the biggest stage.

Representing Aotearoa with pride, passion, and determination — we can’t wait to see you take on the world. 💪🖤

🧠 MENTAL SKILLS 101 🧠

Thank you to all the parents and Juniors who attended the workshop facilitated by Kayne Hammington on Friday night! What a great turnout for an awesome session.

Some of the key points:

👉 Awareness - of your thoughts, feelings, and physical state
👉 Confidence - being aware of your confidence, being prepared (physically and mentally), being optimistic (growth mindset)
👉 Concentration - be aware of your concentration, identifying controllable vs uncontrollable, having a "reset"
👉 Commitment - focusing on your "why" and on your effort.

There are 3 interpretations of the poutama pattern. This pattern represents the journey/pursuit of knowledge/development.
