The glass on the notice board by the pond has been smashed we believe on Saturday morning. If anyone saw the vandals that did this please let us know so we can inform the authorities, thank you.

Here are the minutes from the May trustees meeting. The next meeting on 20 November is also our AGM.

We have a work party to clear invasive w**d from in and around the pond on September 10th if you have an hour or two spare and would like to help we will meet at 9am at the pond.

We now have a new 55inch Smart TV installed in the Village hall bar to watch 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 England's World Cup Football Matches 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 in glorious Ultra HD ⚽️⚽️⚽️

Bar open from 8pm

England’s next two Group Matches will be shown in the bar

Tuesday 23.06.26 England v Ghana 9pm KO

Saturday 27.06.26 England v Panama 10pm KO

Bar open from 8pm for the above Matches with Half time burgers and hotdogs for sale.

If you are dog walking on the green in the evening avoiding the heat the bar is dog friendly and even treats for good boys and girls are available on the bar.

Have a wife/husband/partner who hates football? Or perhaps you blissfully enjoy the footy together and would like to scream at the telly in the company of a few other football nuts over a beverage or two.

Thankfully there is a solution.

The Bar will be open from 8pm for all the England Group Matches above and whatever match is televised on regular Friday Bar nights

The village summer bazaar is on Saturday and after all this rain the weather looks good the BBQ will be sizzling and the bar will be open, see you there.
