Awake Pinellas Awake Pinellas' mission is to be a networking center for organizers to manifest a progressive agenda. http://pinellasprogressivesnetwork.com/

Awake Pinellas is the Pinellas county chapter for the Awake the State movement. A joint project between Progress Florida, Florida Watch Action and America Votes, Awake the State started as a page and has quickly grown into thousands of people across the state organized to make their voices heard. We began on March 8, 2011 with more than 10,000 Floridians from all walks of life protesting

the anti-middle class budget proposals sweeping our communities. We continue to hold our representatives accountable for their votes in our cities, in our counties and in Tallahassee.
