We’re thrilled to share that T-REX has offered to host our November meeting for those in the St. Louis area! If you’re local, we encourage you to stop by the T-REX Center and join the meeting as a group, it’s a great opportunity to network, collaborate, and represent our STL GIS community together.

We are excited to see how this regional meetup format continues to grow and strengthen our connections across Missouri. If you have been waiting to get plugged in with the council, now is your time! Our meetings are hosted on zoom as always and for the Mid-Mo folks, we will be in Jeff City!

Thank you for all that you have done for MGISAC and the State of Missouri, David. We hope you have a wonderful retirement.

This year's Outstanding Contribution to GIS award went to David Nail. David has recently retired from a successful 36- year career with USGS. During that time he fostered many partnerships that resulted in the advancement of integral datasets and the production of lidar and elevation derived hydrography for the state that is now publicly available.
