The Metamora Area Historical Society will be participating in the Metamora Garage Sales, Saturday, June 25, 9 AM to 4 PM.
MAHS will be at the Heritage House at 343 West Main St.
 Baked goods will be for sale as well as hotdogs.
There will be jewelry for sale along with flea market items.

MAHS is looking for a picture of the old Caraghar General Store in Assumption, Ohio. It was owned by Frank Onweller for a time.
We need the picture to use as reference to complete the set of murals in the Community Room of the library.

Colorful Characters & Crazy Stories of Metamora!..................Come to this fun event on Wednesday, September 18. The potluck starts at six and the program at 6:45 PM. The public is welcome. Hi, I'm an area artist who loves Metamora. I created this piece of art of the downtown in many styles. Someone suggested that the Metamora Historical Society may be interested in it. I am going to share a few versions. Thank you!
Hello! Could you direct me as to where I might find old pictures (and any stories/history) on the old SpringBrook farm on Thornville Road? My niece is doing extensive rennovations to it, and I'd like to surprise her with pictures and any other history I can find. I know one of the last owners was a woman named Joan, who lived there with 2 other women, and my sister and I were fortunate enough to find not one, but TWO ceramic pieces made by one of the woman who lived there with Joan. Any direction you could give would be MOST appreciated!
