Thank you to everyone who joined Saturday's Unite & Rise For Voting Rights, and to Jarrett Eady for giving us historical context, WGCU Public Media for producing With a Made Up Mind: the History of the Black Vote in SW Florida, Neil Volz, his staff, and the Alliance for the Arts for their beautiful space, and all the community partners that participated, who support connection and civic engagement. We got to:
*Commemorate the Voting Rights Act of 1965
*Collaborate with community partners to Get Out the Vote (GOTV)
*Connect with others for civic participation and informed voting

We are proud to host a special screening of the documentary *With a Made Up Mind: The History of the Black Vote in Southwest Florida*. Join us for this powerful look into our local history as we commemorate the anniversary of the Voting Rights Act and discuss the ongoing importance of civic participation.
