Tom has now been in Parliament since 4th July. He has been appointed deputy chief whip for the Liberal Democrat party.
He has supported early day motions to retain the £2 bus fare cap and welcoming the court decision to halt the Cumbrian coal mine.
He has not made any spoken contributions or voted on any climate and nature related issues.
He has submitted written questions on whether Cheadle railway station is still going ahead, Northern Rail’s performance and when the 48 local nature strategies will be published and how the Department of Environment, Food and Rural affairs will work with local authorities to implement them.
Outside Parliament, he has campaigned about the Sunday rail service through Cheadle Hulme and Bramhall due to recent cancellations, asked for a change of water regulator to inject greater urgency in dealing with United Utilities sewage pollution locally and about Cheadle railway station.
