Our beloved General Santos City and neighboring communities have been deeply shaken by the recent 7.8-magnitude earthquake.

In times of disaster, the Calumpang Youth for Empowerment (CALYE) believes that hope shines brightest through collective action.

We are launching a donation drive to provide immediate relief, comfort, and essential goods to the affected families.

No act of kindness is ever too small. Every portion of your generosity brings a warm meal, safe shelter, and hope to someone who may have lost something today.

Let us be the strength our neighbors need right now.

We are accepting the following donations:
Bottled water
Ready-to-eat
canned goods
First aid supplies
Blankets and mats
Hygiene kits

Drop-off points and digital wallet channels for cash assistance are detailed below.

CALYE Officers successfully conducted its First Regular Meeting, setting the direction for a stronger and more united organization. Key agenda included officers’ transition, strategic planning, annual activities, compliance with DTI requirements, reconnecting initiatives for members, and prioritizing volunteer acceptance.

Together, we continue to build a purpose-driven youth organization committed to service, growth, and empowerment.

Calumpang Youth for Empowerment (CALYE) proudly participated in the STRONG MOVE: Strategic Transformation and Revenue-Oriented Network Growth through Market-Oriented Value Expansion Training-Workshop held today, May 12, 2026, at Habi Hotel, Koronadal City.

The activity provided valuable learning on enterprise development, market expansion, sustainability, and improving community-based business operations, important areas that can help strengthen CALYE Cooperative’s sewing and apparel-related services as we continue rebuilding our income-generating initiatives.

We sincerely thank the Department of Trade and Industry Region XII for recognizing CALYE as a recipient of the Shared Service Facilities (SSF) Program and for continuously supporting youth-led organizations through capacity-building opportunities like this.

With every training, collaboration, and opportunity, CALYE moves one step closer toward becoming more sustainable, innovative, and impactful for the community we serve.

19 YEARS STRONG, AND STILL EVOLVING.

Last night may have been a simple celebration, but it marked an important turning point for CALYE. We officially welcomed a new set of officers led by Cindy Emar Dalid as the new President who will help lead the organization for the next three years, carrying fresh energy, new ideas, and a shared commitment to rebuild stronger together.

At the same time, we honor and appreciate our outgoing officers for their efforts, sacrifices, and leadership through the years. Thank you Mr. Shinwa Choy Lakwatsero and team for keeping the CALYE spirit alive, especially during the quiet seasons.

To those who couldn’t make it last night you were still felt. CALYE has always been bigger than attendance. Once part of this family, always part of the story.

Few in number, but full of purpose.
The rebuilding continues and the future is looking hopeful. Happy 19th and counting CALYE peeps 💐🎉🎂🥂

19 years strong. Still growing.
Still rebuilding. Still showing up.

Today, we celebrate CALYE! The friendships, the service, the memories, and the purpose that started in 2007 and continues today. To all members, volunteers, partners, and supporters, this celebration is for all of us.
