Our Scouts showed what it means to be cheerful, respectful, and full of community spirit! Happy Flag Day!

Pack 42 came together as a village this weekend to spread joy and give back to our community. Scouts and families spent some time at Discovery Village painting rocks, playing everyone’s favorite game of bingo, and celebrating Ms. Dora’s birthday!

It was a beautiful sunny Sunday filled with laughter, smiles, and meaningful connections. We are incredibly grateful for our dedicated leaders, amazing Scouts, and families who took the time to join us and make a difference. Giving back isn’t just about service—it’s about building relationships, creating memories, and brightening someone’s day.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this special day so memorable. 💙💛

Yesterday we celebrated an incredible leader, mentor, outdoorsman, and friend- Cubmaster Kai Lee.

Over the last couple of years, Kai helped create unforgettable experiences for the Scouts and families of Pack 42. From fishing trips to service projects, Pinewood Derbies, Popcorn Paloozas, Rib Eye dinners, countless late-night planning messages, and everything scouts has to offer in between, Kai absolutely poured his heart into this pack.

Pack 42 is stronger because of you and your impact will be felt around countless future campfires for years to come.

Everyone mark their calendars because May 30th has officially been proclaimed Kai Lee Day in Quincy, Massachusetts.

Lightning and thunder prevented us for holding our last Pack Meeting of the season outdoors but cleared by the time Kona Ice came rolling in - congratulations to all of our Scouts that made rank, their leaders for volunteering their time and delivering another season of phenomenal programming, and the parents for supporting them every step of the way - it takes everyone playing their part for a Pack to come together

The Lion Cubs rolled into Kincaid Park for an action-packed Bike Safety Rodeo! The adventure kicked off with learning the ABCs of bike safety: A for air in the tires, B for brakes, and C for chains. The Cubs also became helmet safety experts, making sure their helmets fit just right — snug chin straps and the perfect “Scout salute” spacing above their eyebrows for maximum protection.

Once their gear checks were complete, the Lions hit the course for a few exciting laps around the park! Along the way, they practiced hand signals for left turns, right turns, and stopping, while also learning how to safely pass pedestrians and confidently cross at the crosswalk. It was a fun-filled den meeting of riding, learning, and building confidence on two wheels!
