An increase of carbon emissions has resulted in the temperature of our oceans rising to historic highs. As a consequence, warmer oceans have contributed to the frequency and intensity of hurricanes, flooding, and tornadoes. For communities of color, the devastating effects of catastrophic climate events often lead to slower response and inadequate insurance settlements for relief. Join us as we advocate for parity in black, Hispanic, and low-income areas. Together, we can implement change and improve the outcomes for the most vulnerable among us.

Join us as we advocate for those affected by Hurricane Milton and Helene to ensure communities of color receive the same financial, logistical, and timely support as their white neighbors.

The Society of Professional Engineering Employees in Aerospace (SPEEA) is a union of over 20,000 professionals, dedicated to holding their high job standards for aerospace professionals. 🔭

members support and advocate for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education by serving on advisory councils, volunteering as mentors and assisting programs through the union Councils' annual STEM Grant program. In 2021, SPEEA started building and administering the Aerospace Career Enhancement (ACE) program to bring more people into the aerospace industry.
