Volunteer at BLISS in 2026!

Opportunities to get hands on the land are quickly approaching. See deets below ⬇️, and register by with the Tend the Land option below.

April 18 - CORE Volunteer Orientation 1pm - 3pm
Have 2-4 hours a week to spare helping us maintain the landscape? This event is for you! Join us to learn all you need to provide vital support to our small, but mighty, team.

April 24 - Earth Day Planting Part 10am - 2pm
Check your bennies and see if your job will allow you to volunteer, and come celebrate Earth Day at BLISS and help us plant our meadow. We will have everything you need, including lunch!

April 25 - Open Volunteer Hours - 11am - 1pm
Can't swing a weekday? You're in luck! Our weekly Saturday volunteer hours begin! Join the team as we tend to our Stewardship Tasks. Kids are welcome. No experience required!

We are leaning more heavily into the science of our work at BLISS.

Our team was hands-on and knee-deep testing pool and surface water conditions using a water quality monitor designed to capture real-time data across multiple parameters like dissolved oxygen, pH, turbidity, and more to ensure our aquatic life has a habitable ecosystem.

We'll be testing our sites seasonally to track changes over time and determine if any interventions are needed.

From our hands to the soil, each seed we plant is a quiet act of hope.

Backyard Basecamp was started for families to get comfortable with the outdoors in a safe and local environment.

Our motto is “Nature is Everywhere”. Starting off locally and slowly, we empower our participants to feel knowledgeable and confident enough to explore the world on their own terms.
