📣 Just a reminder:

❗️Juniors need to attend 3 Horse Project events - one needs to be a project meeting (no horse) and the other needs to be a clinic (with a horse).
❗️Seniors need to attend 2 Horse Project events - one project meeting and one clinic.

The remaining clinics include:
* 5/31 Patterns at 5/530p (after the Hooves & Hats 4H mtg) at the Expo grounds
* 6/7 Trail at 5p at the Expo Grounds
* 6/28 Achievement Show at 4p at the Expo Grounds

If you plan to attend a different event with a horse before Expo, send us a message in advance so we can review and confirm it will work. Let us know if you have any questions!

Unfortunately the trails at Pioneer Ridge are closed today. We will be canceling the trailride. We will try again another time! Be watching for more dates/times of upcoming Project Mtgs/Clinics for the Horse Project for 25-26!

We hope you can join us for the first Horse Project Meeting for the 25-26 year TODAY at 5p at the ISU Extension office/4H grounds! We will be introducing the Horse Project including rules, activities and Q & A. All are welcome to come check it out! You do not have to have a horse to be in the Horse Project!

Project Meeting will be held immediately after the Hooves & Hats 4H Club Meeting.

4-H is having a fall New Member Night on Thursday, November 14th from 6-7p at the Wapello Cty Extension Office! This event will give an overview of the 4-H year, explain the important events and deadlines that occur throughout the year and answer questions! This is a great event for new 4-H members, interested 4-H members or families looking to get more involved in the 4-H program! Register by 4:30p TODAY, by calling 641-682-5491 or emailing Cindy at [email protected]!

The Horse Project Clinic scheduled for TONIGHT, May 30, has been cancelled.

The final Horse Project Clinic will be held on Monday, June 17th at 6pm at the Extension Office Horse Arena. The primary topic will be Barrels (Games), however participants are welcome to work on other areas of interest as needed.

Additional reminders:

The Horse Project Achievement Show will be held on Tuesday, July 2nd at 6pm at the Extension Office Horse Arena.

The 4H Expo Horse Show will be held Tuesday, July 16th at 8am at the Extension Office Horse Arena. Check in will begin at 7am.
