On behalf of the Phoenixville Police Department, we would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the Pennsylvania Chiefs of Police Association for your generous $5,500 grant toward the purchase of a new digital camera system.
Your continued support of local law enforcement agencies plays a vital role in helping us maintain the highest standards of professionalism and service to our community. This equipment will significantly enhance our department’s ability to document evidence, support investigations, and improve the quality of our casework.
We truly appreciate the Association’s dedication to strengthening public safety efforts across Pennsylvania. Please extend our thanks to the entire organization for their commitment to assisting departments like ours in advancing their operational capabilities. A special thanks to PA Chiefs, Ken Zipovsky, who delivered the digital camera and equipment to our department today!

🚨 Captured: Escapee Apprehended in Phoenixville 🚨

Earlier today, Corporal Gray of the Phoenixville Police Department recognized the wanted escapee from East Pikeland Township inside the Wawa on Nutt Road. Acting quickly and courageously, Corporal Gray engaged in a foot pursuit, leading to the subject’s capture.

We extend our sincere thanks to the numerous agencies who immediately responded and assisted in the search and apprehension efforts — including the Pennsylvania State Police, East Pikeland Township Police, East Vincent Police, Tredyffrin Police, Upper Uwchlan Police, Spring City Police, East Whiteland Police, Easttown Police, Willistown Police, Royerford Police, Upper Providence Police, and Schuylkill Township Police.

Your teamwork and professionalism exemplify the strength of law enforcement cooperation across Chester County and beyond.

If we inadvertently missed any department that provided assistance today, please know your help was appreciated and did not go unnoticed.

Excellent work by all involved — and a special commendation to Corporal Gray for his alertness and decisive action that brought this incident to a safe conclusion.
