Greenfield Community Emergency Response Updates from the Greenfield Community Emergency Radio Response Team. We are learning as we go.

Greenfield Ranch is a rural community in Mendocino County of 5000+ acres of off-grid owner-built homesteads in mixed oak woodlands, doug fir forests and grasslands. After the Jack Smith Fire in 2008, community members organized a radio relay system to communicate with members throughout the varied landscape. Many community members, families and elders live in remote areas with low cell-reception,

so a neighborhood safety check is implemented to assure the welfare of all residents in this area. This page is the public outreach arm of the Greenfield Community Emergency Response. Here we post verified updates on emergency situations, check rumors, ask questions and receive responses on the welfare of our loved ones on Greenfield Ranch, Singley Ranch, and other contingent communities as may be added in the future.
