This Saturday, downtown Aurora is kicking off the first Cruisin’ of the season starting at 4 PM!

We’re excited to welcome this event downtown and even more excited about what it could grow into for our community. There’ll be classic cars, ice cream, local shops open, and plenty of places downtown to grab something to eat while you walk around and enjoy the evening.

Events like this bring people together, support local businesses, and help keep downtown Aurora active and growing — so come out, cruise through, and show your support for our downtown community. We can’t wait to see everyone there!

One recap from downtown this weekend 🇺🇸

We were honored to host a memorial service recognizing our veterans and hand out veteran pins during the event. Seeing the community come together in such a meaningful way is always a reminder of how special our downtown really is.

The veteran banners have become such an important part of the growth happening here. They’ve helped bring visibility, conversation, and pride back into downtown while also honoring the people and stories that deserve to be remembered. We’re excited to keep seeing our downtown continue to grow through projects like this.

Our Economic Vitality Committee organized the first Storefront Stories event, held on Thursday.
A small group enjoyed appetizers provided by Make Our Day and visited Ava Belle’s Flea Market Front Porch Mercantile and Trendy Resale to learn about how each business got started, and the experience of being in the downtown.
The group ended the tour at Winston’s to eat a delicious dinner together.
Thanks to Mark and Katie Dillman and Make Our Day (link in the comments) for their hard work getting this new project started.

Congratulations to Winston’s on their first anniversary!

Thank you for a fantastic first year, Aurora! Y’all have been wonderfully supportive!

In the last 12 months we’ve seen incredible growth in Beautiful Downtown Aurora, and there’s more on the horizon. We can’t wait to see how things look in another year!

We’re here at 121 South Madison Avenue until 8 this evening, so pop in and say hi!
